Special Assistant to Prime Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan paid a surprise visit to Ramzan Bazaar in Sialkot, this was the moment when citizens approached her and complained about the rotten fruits being sold in Ramzan Bazaar.
Firdous immediately summoned Assistant Commissioner Sialkot Sonia Sadaf and held her answerable for the situation in Ramzan Bazaar. During the conversation situation escalated when AC Sialkot tried to explain to her that she was unable to reach and address these issues due to excessive crowd .
Upon this explanation given by AC Sialkot, Firdous responded that it was her responsibility to reach the spot regardless of the obstacles, Firdous said that AC was not a special person facing this trouble of crowd all alone, but a high-ranking officer like her prefered to stay in her comfortable office.
Situation got worse when AC Sialkot protested against the way she was being dealt with. Firdous said that these actions did not suit her as an Assistant Commissioner, “who is that shameless person who appointed you as Assistant Commissioner” remarked Firdous which made Sonia leave the scene.
