“We Will Be Your Friend, Not Your Slave. We Will Help You Withdraw From Afghanistan, But Will Not Launch Military Operation For You” – Imran Khan Keeps His 2012 Promise

A 2012 tweet by PM Imran Khan has resurfaced on the internet that clearly states that Pakistan should not be a slave of the US in its war in Afghanistan.

As the US is planning its exit from Afghanistan, PM Imran Khan has once again reiterated his firm and crystal clear policy on not allowing the US government to set up a military base on Pakistani soil. As tweeted in 2012 by PM Imran Khan, he has once again relived his promise today. In another interview, PM Imran Khan stated that, “This is not our war, and Pakistan will never take part in any other country’s war.”

He further added, “If this is not Pakistan’s war, why should our people die because of it?” Imran Khan’s resolute stance is making rounds globally as the USA struggles to find land for a military base in South Asia.
