Afghan Taliban Won’t Allow TTP Terrorists To Use Afghan Soil Against Pakistan, Says Sheikh Rasheed

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that the Afghan Taliban are expected not to allow terrorist groups like Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to execute any anti-Pakistan activities which cause harm to the lives and property of Pakistani people.

While addressing the media in Islamabad on Saturday, the Minister further quoted Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement over military bases that Pakistan has categorically denied allowing any military bases to be held by the United States in order to operate it against Afghanistan.

Prime Minister Imran earlier this week regretted that Pakistan made a mistake in the past to join the United States in the Afghan War. He also repeated his firm stance of not providing any military bases to the US.

Moreover, Rashid also stated the progress of fencing along the Afghan border that, “88-percent fencing across the Pak-Afghan border has been completed and the rest is expected to be finished by next month”.
