Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held a press conference in Multan on Sunday. He said FATF is a political tool controlled by some powers including India to pressurise Pakistan for their political purposes.
Pakistan was placed on the grey list during PML-N government, PTI government successfully fulfilled 26 tasks out of 27, yet FATF is not willing to place Pakistan on the white list despite admiring Pakistan’s effort on fulfilling 26 tasks of FATF said Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
He also talked about the seizure of uranium that happened in two cities of India and said if the same incident happened in Pakistan, Indian media would have gone for an international campaign against Pakistan. Foreign Minister requested Pakistani media to focus on this issue and raise this matter on international media forums.
