As the Afghan Taliban capture more territory amid US troop withdrawal, safety of French government’s assets in Afghanistan has become a matter of anxiety. To save their assets, the French Foreign Ministry is offering asylum to those Afgans who work for them.
Most of the Afghans working for the French government call themselves NGO workers.
Since the US pull out begun, the Afghan Taliban has captured over 81 districts.
Most captured districts are the ones surrounding provincial capital, the West fears Afghan Taliban’s next move will be capturing all these district capitals and then head towards national capital, Kabul.
