Forces on High Alert as International Scheme Underway To Carry Out Terror Activities in Pakistan, Says Sheikh Rasheed

Sheikh Rasheed claimed that internationally planned terror acts are to be performed in major cities of Pakistan.

While giving interview to Geo news, Sheikh Rasheed (Minister for interior) claimed that there are terror threats in major cities of Pakistan under the international scheme and seeing the recent circumstances. Pakistan brought these possibilities as it has been visible in global news for the past few weeks. A developing country can face such threats when it lets a superpower down and this was done several times by PM Imran Khan, including other Pakistani officials, when they refused to give Army bases to the USA.

Another aspect to view this threat may also include that these kinds of threats were also highlighted by Pakistan’s foreign office, 5000+ terrorists were claimed to be posing threats to national security who belonged to TTP (Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan). Recently, the former minister of the interior also predicted these threats somehow, when he said that “Afghani soldiers are being trained with modern weapons” and he linked this news with regional peace.

Obviously expected, India not letting go the heat of the moment, to make it intense for Pakistan. However, Pakistan has been proactive as far as India is concerned, handling them at every single forum whether if it was drone seen in Jammu, cyber-attacks and the chain goes on. But the threats remain an important issue for Pakistan.
