Nation remembers Fatima Jinnah known as Madar-e-Millat (Mother of the Nation), on her 54th death anniversary. She was one of the leading founders of Pakistan. She stood shoulder to shoulder with her brother Muhammad Ali Jinnah for the Independence of Pakistan. In the same way as her brother, she possessed great attributes.
Besides many things that will follow her legacy are her commitment to civil rights, her involvement in the Pakistan Movement, and her dedication to her brother. Fatima Jinnah was a source of the awakening of women’s rights and was one of the most significant female figures Pakistan has produced. She died on July 9th, 1967 reportedly owing to heart failure.
