Herschelle Gibbs Slams Indian Cricket Board for Involving Politics in Cricket

Kashmir premier league was going to start from the 6th of August Friday, and different foreign players were participating in KPL. So, before the start of KPL India, as usual, started a hate campaign against the Pakistani Cricket League. The Board of Control for Cricket in India wrote warning letters to English and South African cricket boards to withdraw their players from KPL. Further, BCCI warned them that if players went for playing KPL, then they would not be allowed to enter India again and will also not be allowed to participate in the IPL.

After this warning, English and South African cricket boards stopped their players from playing in KPL. Six foreign players were excused from KPL which include Matt Prior, Owais Shah, Tino Best, and Monty panser.

Herschelle Gibbs is a South African former cricketer, he wrote on his Twitter and exposed the truth of BCCI and slammed them for their conspiracies against KPL and Pakistan. He said that India should not use his political agenda here in cricket. He labeled it as “ludicrous”. Another Sri Lankan cricket star, Tillakaratne Dilshan, rejecting bad conspiracies of India, announced to play for KPL despite all pressures from India.

KPL organizers condemned it and said that the league would continue according to schedule and in place of foreign cricketers, Pakistani players will participate in KPL.
