Russia And Pakistan Are Supporting One Another on Afghanistan Issue

Pakistan and Russia both are looking for a peaceful solution in Afghanistan. The military and political leadership of both countries believe that a peaceful Afghanistan will benefit the region and will prove to be a connecting bridge for trade and economy.

Last week Russian Special Presidential Envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov said Russia, Pakistan and all Afghan neighbouring countries want stability in Afghanistan, he also added that the Kabul regime which is responsible for protection of their people blames other countries when they fail to perform their duties, they find Pakistan a suitable target to throw the blame on.

Few days after this statement of Russian Special Envoy Zamir Kabulov, Pakistani National Security Advisor Moeed Yusuf and Director-General ISI Lt. General Faiz Hameed in a meeting with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said that Russia along with Pakistan is ready to support the peace process to prevent the escalation of ongoing civil war in Afghanistan.
