The Afghan investigation team that came to Pakistan to investigate the kidnapping of the Afghan ambassador’s daughter Selsela Alikhil, was given a detailed briefing by the officials of law enforcement agencies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It was clearly conveyed that the investigation report and the evidence didn’t support the statement of the envoy’s daughter. Videos from Safe City Office were also shown to the probe team in which Selsela Alikhil was moving independently.
The authorities also presented technical data, mobile forensic reports, geo fencing and a comprehensive witness account. After the detailed investigation, authorities in Pakistan had no doubt that this kidnapping was just a drama that was sponsored to malign Pakistan.
Authorities also briefed the delegation about the security of the Afghan Embassy. The Afghan Government announced the arrival of the Afghan investigation team on July 18 after recalling their Ambassador. According to Selsela Alikhil, she was kidnapped on July 16 by unknown people. However, her statement has been invalid through credible evidence.
