Military Dictators Made Dams That Provided Cheap Electricity For Decades But Democrats Imported Fuel And Produced Expensive Electricity, Says Imran Khan

Sheikupura: Prime Minister Imran Khan in a speech during the inaguration ceremony of a smart forest known as Rakh Jhok Forest, gave his remarks on former Pakistani rulers. He talked about power generation under military rulers and democratic leaders.

PM Imran Khan said dams in Pakistan were constructed under military dictators. Seven dams were constructed by Field Marshal Ayub Khan including Mangla and Tarbela Dam, and one dam was constructed by General Musharraf.

It is very sad to say that democratic leaders were not far-sighted enough to think about the future of the nation. Democrats imported expensive fuel that generated expensive electricity and Pakistan had to afford that. While leftover dams of military dictators produced cheap electricity for decades.
