Recently, a video of former Pakistan Cricket team captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed went viral on Social Media in which he was riding a 125-cc motorbike along with his 5-year-old son. He was taunted by a man about getting dropped from the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup to which he sadly replied “Ab Yahi Reh Gaya Hai (this is all left now).”
Recently, Pakistan Cricket Board announced a squad for the upcoming home series versus New Zealand and England and the T20 world cup. PCB received backlash from the fans for not selecting senior players in the squad for the World T20 that includes Wahab Riaz, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Shoaib Malik.
Afterward, a video of the ICC Champions Trophy-winning captain Sarfaraz Ahmed got viral in which a man tried to humiliate the former captain by taunting him on not being selected in the squad to which Sarfaraz grievously responded, “Ab Yahi Reh Gaya Hai (this is all left now)”.
The video left netizens feeling heartbroken. National heroes who made the country proud worldwide should not be treated in this manner. Our behavior toward heroes should be reconsidered, and we must respect their contribution to the country and put aside personal grudges.
