In a meeting with Asad Mehmood, a member of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam- F JUI(F), the ministry of religious affairs and Interfaith Harmony has decided to establish a Quran board aimed at publishing error-free Holy Qur’an.
The standing committee of religious affairs underwent a meeting today, the agenda was the formation of a board at the national level which will be responsible for publishing and printing the Standardized version of the Holy Qur’an.
The discussion has brought all members of the committee on the same page regarding the establishment of the Qur’an board. Moreover, the committee has also passed a bill unanimously regarding the amendment of the publication of the Holy Qur’an Act 1973.
After the meeting, Sahibzada Noor-ul-Haq Qadri- the federal minister for religious affairs had a conversation with media representatives where he told them regarding the formation of the Qur’an board as soon as the bill approves by the National Assembly.
