Indian Home Minister Threatens Pakistan With A Surgical Strike

India’s Minister of Home Affairs Amit Anilchandra Shah, while addressing a gathering after laying the foundation stone of National Forensic Science University in Goa’s Dharbandora, warned Pakistan of transgression against the Indian border, to be countered with surgical strikes.

Shah said that it is no time for talks and negotiations, rather any transgression will only be retaliated. Moreover, he added that it was before 2014, during the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that any such incident reported used to receive very ‘polite request’ from Dehli. But after the 2016 incident against Indian ‘Jawans’, India has been opened to surgical strikes.

These surgical strikes are an important message to the world outside, that no one can disrupt India’s border. Further, Shah said that for years Indian border has been confronting transgression from outside and that India’s border has been used against terrorist activities. But now India has been able to establish its stance to the world under the leadership of PM Modi and Manohar Parrikar.

However, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministery responded the statement, calling them irresponsible and provocative. Moreover, the office gave a stance by saying that such statements from India are only smoke screens to divert the world’s attention from Indian brutality confronted in the region of Jammu and Kashmir and ill behavior with Muslims and minorities.

Moreover, it added that ‘Pakistan’s swift response to 2019 Balakot misadventure was a full demonstration of our will and preparedness of our Armed Forces.’
