Chief of the Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, during his address to retired officers in lahore today, said that it seemed like that Imran Khan would be elected as the Prime Minister Again in the upcoming elections.
Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa had a four hour long candid and frank talk, Q&A session with retired officers. A large of retired officers attended the COAS address at Lahore today.
Major Adil Raja (Retd.), the spokesperson Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society, reported in his tweet about the address :
“Hopefully, we are moving towards the next elections which will be free and fair, and in which it seems that Imran Khan will be re-elected as the Prime Minister, we will accept it wholeheartedly,” said Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa while addressing to retired officers.
Furthermore, the Army Chief talked about the incident of assault on serving Pak Army officer Major Haris in Lahore a few days ago. The COAS said that the officer first broke the car windscreen of the other party. PML-N leaders Salman Rafique & Hafiz Nouman were not at the scene of incident and all the involved culprits were behind the bars.
