FIA has told the Judge of the special court that it had no interest in trial against the members of the sharif family. The special court’s judge Ijaz Hassan Awan, at the request of the prosecutor of FIA issued a detailed written order today.
In November 2020, Federal Investigation Agency, started an inquiry against the members of the Sharif Family, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Cheif Minister Punjab Hamza Shehbaz and others.
However, today in the court, FIA Special Prosector has filled a petition on the orders of DG FIA. DG FIA has ordered the investigation officers to not appear in the Court. It was a petition of “no interest.”
This validates the point of the former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who said that PMLN will try to cancel their corruption cases.
