Jazlan Faisal, a resident of Karachi, on the 24th of May was murdered by a group of bikers. On the above-mentioned date, Jazlan was driving to Bahria Town Karachi with his friends to join a study session with his friends.
While driving, Jazlan saw an underage biker doing stunts. As goodwill, Jazlan asked him to drive safely. The underage boy called a group of 15-20 boys who were carrying guns and batons with them. Jazlan and his friends noticed the biker and cars approaching them when they reached Eifel tower. Two of Jazlan’s friends who were residents of Bahria Town stepped out of the car to talk to them. However, the goons started a fight and fired bullets at Jazlan and his friend Shahmir.
Jazlan was pronounced dead in Agha Khan Hospital. However, Shamir is in the recovery phase at Abbasi Shaheed hospital. The allegedly 17 years old boy Irfan Faiz who fired bullets fled the spot. We demand the government ensure justice in this case.
Demonstrating firearms in public and keeping arms without a license is an offense. However, when there is no effective government control, unfortunately, we have to witness these tragic events, and the families of the victims suffer. The loss of the family of Jazlan is unbearable. May Allah give them patience.
