Bolivia’s Former Army Chief And Former President Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison For Overthrowing An Elected Government

A Bolivian court has sentenced the former Army Chief Williams Clemens, the former president Jenin Ains, and the Chief of Police to life in prison for Overthrowing an elected government.

According to foreign media, Jenin Ains, 54, former military commander Williams Clemens and former Police Commander Vladimir Calderon have been sentenced to 10 years in prison for taking unconstitutional actions to come into power.

Former Army Chief and Former President of Bolivia are guilty of organizing a coup that brought Jenin Ains to power during the 2019 political crisis.
