Parliamentary Secretary of Canadian Defense Ministry Bryan May says allocation of the $50,000 for the reception of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa was inappropriate over his ill-fated service in Pakistan.
He commented this in response to an aggressive speech of Canadian Parliamentarian Tom Kmiec who said that Bajwa is accused of toppling two governments in Pakistan. Tom Kmiec slammed his government for approving the amount for Bajwa’s reception from the money of Canadian taxpayers.
In addition, the military under the leadership of Bajwa is accused of human rights violations, extrajudicial killings, and connections with terrorists.
