Pakistan Military Targets Terror Camps, Support Infrastructure In Kandahar Under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Army carried out strikes on oil storage facilities at Kandahar Airfield during the night of March 12–13 as part of Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, security sources said on Saturday.

According to the sources, video footage released after the operation shows scenes from before and after the strikes, highlighting damage to oil storage installations at the airfield in Kandahar.

They said the targeted oil storage facilities were successfully hit and destroyed during the operation.

Security officials alleged that the sites were being used by the Afghan Taliban and militant groups to support their activities.

The sources added that the Pakistani military is continuing operations against what it described as terrorist hideouts and installations linked to the Afghan Taliban and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which authorities often refer to as “Fitna al-Khawarij”.

According to the officials, the ongoing actions are being carried out under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq and will continue until the stated operational objectives are achieved.
