Humidity levels will remain high, peaking at 87% during the day before dropping to 50-60% in the evening. Northeasterly winds are predicted to shift south/southwesterly, contributing to the unsettled conditions. By Friday, the weather is likely to clear, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures returning to 28-30°C.
Beyond Karachi, the PMD has forecast rain and thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds and isolated hailstorms in several Sindh districts, including Jamshoro, Hyderabad, Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, and Tharparkar. Additional showers are anticipated in Larkana, Sukkur, Ghotki, and surrounding areas, with occasional gaps in precipitation. The department has specifically warned of possible lightning strikes at isolated locations and advised farmers to manage their crops accordingly given the prevailing weather patterns. This advisory follows an earlier alert indicating that the westerly wave would enter Pakistan’s western regions earlier this week, also affecting Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab through March 20.
