Maryam Nawaz’s Love Affair With PPP Was One-Sided, Says Senator Saleem Mandviwalla

Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) alliance members, divided already due to political differences, have started opening up against each other. PDM members had opposed each other on many things, from speech against state institutions to tendering of resignations in the national and provincial assemblies, to the appointment of chairman Senate.

From playing blame games to accusing each other of siding with the government, the grand alliance that was meant to topple sitting government turned against each other. Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) has repeatedly accused Pakistan People Party (PPP) of not keeping up with the PDM cause.

PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari disagreed to co-ordinate with Mariyam Nawaz saying that she was only a vice president and assigned a vice president from Peoples’ Party to deal with her. Now that PDM is no more, PPP Senator Saleem Mandviwalla revealed that Maryam Nawaz’s love affair with People’s Party was one-sided and we were never serious in this affair. He said we had nothing to do with this nor we started this love affair.
