NATO Defence College in Rome has published a 104 pages report on Afghan peace deal. The report says that Pakistan is showing efforts to bring peace and political stability in the region, but outside players like India are against an interim government required for the sake of stability.
The analysis on Pakistan and India’s involvement in peace deal was written by Rahul Roy-Chaudhury, Siegfried O. Wolf and defence experts from UK’s defence think-tanks IISS and RUSI have also contributed.
The report says, all the stakeholders of the peace deal agreed that the solution must be a political agreement, strong power sharing. The report also says Russia and China agreed to replace Ashraf Ghani with interim government, which will involve a major role of Afghan Taliban.
