After losing 9 provinces to the Afghan Taliban and removing the chief of the Afghan National Army and Defence Minister, the Kabul regime has offered the Afghan Taliban a power-sharing deal to end violence. Pakistan had also suggested the Kabul regime and Afghan Taliban to go for a political solution and prevent violence instead of military action.
A member of the Kabul regime’s negotiating team told APF news on Thursday that the Kabul delegation in Qatar submitted a proposal to Afghan Taliban leadership to share power in return for a ceasefire. The Kabul regime proposed power-sharing deal after the insurgent group captured the city of Ghazni that is 150 kilometers away from Kabul.
Kabul’s interior Minister confirmed the fall of the strategic city Ghazni and said every road connecting Kabul to the rest of the Afghan cities and provinces are under Afghan Taliban’s control. After being surrounded by the Afghan Taliban, the Kabul regime ordered its negotiation team in Qatar to negotiate a power-sharing deal before the Afghan Taliban captures Kabul.
