Moscow: Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in a one-on-one meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin bilateral relations and other important matters. Both leaders are giving importance to each other as this new relationship is expected to be beneficial for both nations
Following the Russian attack on Ukraine, the Moscow authorities have extended the duration of the meeting to three hours. A working lunch was organised to give more time to discuss. It was a high-level meeting between the government of Russia and the delegation of Pakistan.
During the meeting, visually showed that President Putin made Imran Khan sit closer to him as compared to Western leaders. PM Imran also discussed other issues, including economic cooperation, hours after several Western nations hit Russia with new sanctions for its military deployment into parts of eastern Ukraine.
