17 PTV Officials Fired From Their Jobs For Failing to Properly Cover PM Shahbaz Sharif’s Lahore Visit

The state-run Pakis­tan Television (PTV) has fired 17 officials for not properly covering PM Shehbaz Sharif’s Lahore visit on the channel.

The officials failed to properly broadcast the visit because of the non-availability of advanced laptops required to upload the video.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Lahore last week. He visited Kot Lakhpat Jail and Ramazan Bazaars.

The PTV officials failed to broadcast the events at the time despite having prior knowledge about the visit.
