The Economic Survey Of Pakistan 2021-22 Showed That The Government Of Former Prime Minister Imran Khan Achieved 5.97% GDP Growth Against The Target Of 4.8%

The Ministry of Finance has released the Pre-Budget Document, Pakistan Economic Survey 2021-22 on Thursday.

The Economic Survey of Pakistan has examined the progress of the outgoing financial year based on the latest available data for the period March-April 2021-22.

Key points of Economic Survey of Pakistan 2021-22 are:

GDP Growth Target: 4. 8% Achieved: 5.97%

Total Exports: Target: $26.83 Billion Achieved: $28.85 Billions

Agriculture Sector Growth: Target: 3.5% Achieved: 4.4%

Industry Sector Growth: Targeted: 6.6% Achieved: 7.2%

Service Sector Growth: Targeted: 4.7% Achieved: 6.2%

Miftah Ismail highlighted the performance and targets achieved or missed during the outgoing fiscal year — when the Imran Khan-led government was in power for the first nine months, which started on July 1, 2021, and will end on June 30, 2022.
