Al Qassam Brigade, the military wing of Hamas, announced earlier this week that it had deliberately targeted the secret location of the Dimona reactor in Israel, east of Negev-gaza.
According to sources, Hamas had some success in targeting strategically sensitive locations adjacent to Israeli infrastructure and Israeli cities and residential areas. Incoming rocket warning sirens have sounded well in many parts of Israel’s Negev region since the beginning of this week’s battle.
The Qassam Brigade spokesman said on Wednesday: “We are ordering the use of 15 rockets to attack Dimona”. Since then, the rockets generally appear to have fallen from the southern region, but there are no reports of direct hits anywhere in the complex or damage to the perimeter.
