Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Asim Munir, has reiterated that militants operating from across the Afghan border will not be allowed to threaten the country’s security.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief made these remarks during his visit to Kurram district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where he offered Eid prayers alongside officers and troops. He also prayed for Pakistan’s continued stability and prosperity.

The ISPR statement added that he praised the courage and dedication of the armed forces, particularly highlighting their performance in Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, which aims to dismantle terrorist networks and maintain long-term peace in border areas.

He credited recent operational successes to the sacrifices of fallen soldiers and the unwavering resolve of serving personnel. While interacting with troops, the army chief extended Eid greetings and commended their professionalism, morale, and steadfast commitment to defending the country.
