Amidst the turmoil in Afghanistan where the chances of insurgency are on the rise with each passing day, with the Taliban taking over land left by the American forces. Moreover, another grave issue is being overlooked and that is a common trait observed in the withdrawal of US forces all over the world.
They tend to leave behind their used military apparatus. They handed over 25 Humvees to the Afghan forces but it seems useless as it cannot provide protective capabilities from the rockets and detonation bombs used by the Taliban. This has been observed in Iraq, Vietnam and now Afghanistan. American forces are to leave Afghanistan on September 11th this year. But with days passing by new issues are arising for the locals of Afghanistan. Their villages have been destroyed in the war, their people killed and made homeless, political and economic instability in the country.
Furthermore, the haphazardness with which America is leaving Afghanistan is further illustrated by a lack of an agreement on who will run Kabul International Airport, either the Afghan government or the Taliban. Also, the leftover military apparatus only consists of destroyed and unusable equipment.
