Speaker Of Afghan Parliament Along With Other Political Leader Leaves Kabul To Seek Refuge From Pakistan

Afghan media citing Al-Jazeera, stated that Afghanistan’s parliament speaker and political leaders have left Kabul for Pakistan. After claiming control of dozens of Afghan districts and several provincial capitals, Afghan Taliban have captured the key control on the Eastern city of Jalalabad. Control on Jalalabad has secured the most critical roads to Pakistan from the country.

After the dead talks between Afghan Taliban and Afghanistan’s President Ashraf Ghani, the Afghan government has lost its power to most of its controlled areas. Afghanistan has been facing the worst political mood in the country, especially leading to isolation for Afghanistan’s President Ashraf Ghani and other political leaders after the US withdrawal from the country.

After the hold on Jalalabad, Afghan Taliban has also entered Kabul, with instructions given to their forces not to cross the gates of the capital. They have also stated ensuring complete security to lives, property and honour of Kabulis. They want the whole process of transition to be very safe and secure.

In addition to this, they have also stated to pose no threat to money, property or institutions of banks, merchants and other entrepreneurs.
