Afghanistan Is Not A Slave Anymore, Says Imran Khan

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan in a speech during the launching ceremony of Single National Curriculum said we divided the nation by introducing different curriculums to our nation. He narrated that when he was studying English medium in Lahore, he played cricket with a team who were studying National Curriculum. Imran Khan said I felt that despite being Pakistani, there were many differences between both of us because of different curriculums.

Imran Khan added we had so many differences in culture that it was difficult for us to accept each other as friends. This is how you divide a nation by sending one side to study English medium and the rest of the country to study Urdu medium.

Nearly 0.8 million students can study English medium in Pakistan, over 30 million students study Urdu medium and 2.6 million students pursue education from Madrasa. This is how we divide our nation by dividing their thoughts and culture, said Imran Khan.

While kids are studying foreign curriculum, they are adapting foreign culture that leads to mental slavery which is even worse than physical slavery. Imran Khan added that getting rid of mental slavery is more difficult than physical slavery and Afghanistan has successfully broken the chain of slavery that was leading them to mental slavery.
