The culprits involved in the lynching case of Sri-Lankan Manager Priyantha Kumara, have been convicted by an anti-terrorism court on Monday.
The Anti-Terrorism Court awarded death sentence to six culprits, and awarded the punishment of life imprisonment to nine in its verdict in the lynching case of Sri-Lankan Manager, Priyantha Kumara.
Seventy-two other culprits were also convicted and given two years of jail sentence of each. Moreover, one person was given a sentence of five years and another was acquitted.
The Sri-Lankan citizen, Priyantha Kumara was lynched in Sialkot by a mob of hundreds of people. The mob also included employees including the employees of the factory of which Priyantha was the manager. The mob had tortured him to death and later burnt his body.
