In a significant diplomatic move, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has reached out to Iran’s newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian, calling for strengthened ties between the two nations.
In a letter delivered by Saudi Minister of State Prince Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, King Salman expressed his desire for more constructive steps towards developing bilateral relations and promoting regional and international peace and security.
The message also conveyed warm wishes to the Iranian people from the Saudi monarch and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
This diplomatic overture marks a potential new chapter in relations between Riyadh and Tehran, following the tragic passing of former President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash.
