Iran Launches Ballistic Missile Attack on US Air Base in Qatar

In a significant escalation of tensions, Iran launched a ballistic missile attack on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, which houses US forces.

Qatar’s air defenses successfully intercepted the missiles, and no casualties have been reported so far.

The attack, which was carried out using short-range and medium-range ballistic missiles, targeted the largest US military installation in the Middle East.

However, thanks to prior coordination between Iran and the US through diplomatic channels, the base was evacuated in advance, minimizing potential casualties.

In addition to the evacuation, major infrastructure, including aircraft, was also relocated from the base ahead of the attack. US officials have confirmed that the base was attacked, but emphasized that no casualties occurred.

The US has taken precautions in anticipation of further Iranian strikes, with officials stating that US forces are on high alert in all remaining bases in the region.

This development comes amid rising tensions between the US, Iran, and Israel, with Iran vowing to retaliate against the US for its recent strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

White House In a statement said that it was expecting a response from Iran, and Trump administration doesn’t want further intervention.
