ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police has released its weekly schedule for mobile facilitation vans, offering on-the-spot traffic-related services across the capital from April 20 to 26.
According to an official, the vans will operate daily from 8:30am to 4:30pm, providing services such as issuance of driving licences, learner permits, renewals, and duplicate licences. In addition, the Islamabad Capital Territory Police will continue its “PS on Wheels” service at various locations to assist residents.
The mobile units — Van-I, Van-II, and Van-III — along with PS on Wheels, will visit different sectors and public points throughout the week.
On Monday, services will be available at E-11 Markaz, Ali Pur Union Council Office, F-10 Bolan Gate, and ZABIST University in H-8.
Tuesday’s locations include G-11 Markaz, PWD, I-8 Markaz, and Urdu University in Chak Shahzad.
On Wednesday, the teams will operate at PIMS Hospital, Humak, E-11 Toba Masjid, and Bahria University.
Thursday’s schedule covers Blue Area, D-17, G-9 Markaz, and Air University.
On Friday, facilities will be provided at G-10 Markaz, Media Town, DHA Phase 5, and the Traffic Office in Faizabad.
Saturday’s stops include F-11 Markaz, Naval Anchorage, I-10 Markaz, and Murree Road near Adventure Inn.
On Sunday, services will be available at Margalla Town, Rawal Town Traffic Office, Police Lines H-11, and Faizabad Traffic Office.
Officials encouraged citizens to make use of these mobile services for convenience and to avoid long queues at traffic offices.
