Khan was expected to be shifted to Shifa International Hospital but was taken to Pims and then returned to Adiala Jail, sparking rumors about a possible behind-the-scenes understanding.
The source said such speculation is not unusual in Pakistan, where political developments are often interpreted through the lens of “deal”, “relief”, or “differences” between the government and the military. However, the source insisted that the current setup is “completely different” from past patterns.
