Eid Milad un Nabi is being celebrated with fervour across Pakistan today, as the nation marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with prayers, processions, and special programmes. The day began with a 31-gun salute in Islamabad and 21-gun salutes in provincial capitals, followed by special prayers after Fajr for peace and prosperity.

In their messages, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged the youth to draw guidance from the Seerat of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). President Zardari emphasized the promotion of justice and tolerance, while PM Shehbaz called for moulding collective lives according to Islamic teachings to overcome challenges.
An International Seerat-un-Nabi Conference is being held in Islamabad, focusing on the character building of the younger generation in light of the Prophet’s (PBUH) life. The conference brings together scholars and intellectuals from Pakistan and other Islamic countries to discuss practical applications of his teachings.
The National Assembly has called for marking Eid Milad un Nabi with national unity and tolerance, reinforcing the day’s significance in promoting harmony across the country.
