The unification of the education system with the help of the Single National Curriculum (SNC), indeed a paramount achievement of the PTI government. The curriculum will be implemented from Monday (today). Said Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood on Sunday. He further said that except Sindh, the SNC had been launched from class I to 5 in public, private schools, and seminaries. Undoubtedly, these initiatives taken by the PTI will prove to be a great way to unite the coming generation and to inculcate the true sense of harmony in their minds.
The federal minister will hold meetings with the Chief Minister and the education minister of Sindh soon. The government has also issued no-objection certificates to private publishers to publish books alongside the government publishers.
Some obstructions are also there for the government in the implementation of the new curriculum, but the government is hopeful to overcome them. As the minister told, strict actions will be taken against the schools refusing to adopt the new curriculum.
Private schools are also allowed to add additional books and materials to their syllabus, but the ignorance of the Single National Curriculum (SNC) will not be tolerated.
Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said that from next year the SNC would be introduced from class six to eight and then in 2023 from class nine to 12.
The Single National Curriculum (SNC) is a great amalgamation of teachings of our Great Prophet ï·º, patriotism, tolerance, nationalism, civic responsibilities, nationalism, and character building.
