Pakistan And Turkey Join Hands To Produce TV Series On Salahuddin Ayyubi

Turkey and Pakistan enjoy friendly relations with both being termed Kardesler (brothers in Turkish). Turkey and Pakistan shake hands to achieve the hallmark in the film industry. Both countries set to co-inaugurate a television series on the life of Salahuddin al-Ayyubi. An inspirational Muslim leader led an army that recaptured Jerusalem in 1187. Salahuddin-al-Ayyubi, popularly known in the West as Saladin.

Emre Konuk, owner of Turkey’s Akli Films stated that they have successfully signed an agreement with Pakistan’s Ansari and Shah Films.

He hoped that this international joint project is beneficial “to our country and our art world”. This series will be shot in Turkey casting both Turkish and Pakistani actors and this series probably has 3 seasons.

Konuk said that he is pleased to realise the project apart from knowing the difficulties they are going to face in depicting the story of Salahuddin ” the great person who left his mark in history and all over the world.”
