Pakistan And China May Get Access To US Military Equipment In Afghanistan, Warns Former US Diplomat

Nikki Haley, America’s former envoy, has recently claimed that China is eyeing Afghanistan’s Bagram air force base, which was once under US control for over two years.

In an interview, Haley said that they need to watch China because she thinks that the people will soon witness China making “a move for Bagram Air Force Base.” Further, the former envoy also put forward her thoughts on how she thinks that China is “making a move in Afghanistan” and is “trying to use Pakistan to go against India.”

Moreover, Haley brought Russia into the discussion as well to warn the authorities of the consequences they’ll have to face because they “show no signs of willingness to fight back”.

In view of the aforementioned, the American diplomat gave the advice that President Joe Biden should reach out to its allies and supporters such as India, Japan, and Australia and assure them that the US will have their back. Furthermore, through that, the president should “strengthen those relationships”, modernize their military, and make sure they were prepared for the cybercrimes and the terrorist crimes that were headed their way.
