India’s Lt. General, Sanjay Kulkarni, has recently stated in a discussion with India Today that the Pakistan army is the only army that has now two countries to govern, i.e., Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The Ex-DG, Infantry gave the statement in reference to the past as well as the recent incidents happening between the two countries. The first one was about the Panjshir incident, where here alleged that the Pakistan army lead the Afghan missions. And the second point was an indication to DG-ISI Faiz Hameed’s visit to Afghanistan.
According to Kulkarni, the above-mentioned points signify the Pakistani army’s control over the Afghan army. The exact words of the Lt. General were as follows: “The Pakistan’s army is the only army in the world which has two countries now, to govern and to have as their own: Pakistan and Afghanistan.”
