Smoker Women Are Leading Cause Of Increasing Divorce Rate In Pakistan, Says PTI MNA Dr. Nausheen Hamid

Recently a survey was conducted across Pakistan and the result proved the divorce rate in Pakistan has hit an all-time high. Some people called it a lack of tolerance and some called it a lack of fundamental rights.

PTI’s member of national assembly Dr. Nausheen Hamid in a seminar stated that women addicted to smoking are the leading cause of divorce in Pakistan.

In a seminar in Islamabad talking about the use of tobacco, Dr. Nausheen said women who are addicted to smoking are not accepted by their in-laws hence they end up getting divorced.

She also added that the number of women smokers is increasing every year. With the increase in women smokers problems with their family members is also increasing.
