Israeli Comedian Mocks UAE For Forgetting Palestine

A well-known Israeli comedian has delivered an Arabic and Hebrew melody that ridicules the UAE for double-crossing the Palestinians and normalizing ties with Israel. The tune is circulating on the Internet and is causing a great stir in the Arab world.

Noam Shuster-Eliassi, is the singer behind this song named “Dubai, Dubai.” The song was originally released for a comedy show on the “Makan” channel.

To quote some lyrics.

“Dubai, Dubai. We still haven’t lost hope. Dubai, Dubai. Burning the consciousness of Arabs and like Dubai. They forget that we blockaded Gaza. How great it would have been if all Arabs were like Dubai. I’ll imprison you in checkpoints and then take a selfie in the towers. Dubai, Dubai, Dubai, Dubai, Dubai.”

Interestingly, in August 2020, UAE became the third Arab country to authoritatively and legally perceive Israel. Bahrain is the fourth while Egypt and Jordan were the initial states to recognize Israel.

Additionally, Israel and UAE inked ‘Abraham Accords’ handled by the former US President Donald Trump. This prompted the conventional foundation of bilateral relations between the two nations.
