The Pakistan Air force is about to add 50 JF-17 Thunder Block 3 fighter jets which is a 4.5 generation technology, the same generation as India’s latest fighter jet Rafale. Pakistan Air Force jointly developed the fighter jet with China’s Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group.
Both JF-17 Block 3 and J-10C will replace old aircrafts and upgrade the Pakistani Air Force against India. As per defence sources, both fighter jets will participate in the upcoming Pakistan Day Parade on 23rd March 2022.
JF-17 Block 3 is close to stealth due to its composite material which provides the stealth features required to dodge the latest Indian Air Defence S-400 Missile System. Indian airforce inducted S-400 Missile System after failure in preventing Pakistani airstrike on February 27.
