Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday arrived in Russia on a two-day official visit, at the invitation of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Both leaders will discuss bilateral relations and defence cooperation in this 2 days visit.
A guard of honour was given to the prime minister and the Pakistani delegation by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. The delegation was given a red-carpet welcome by the Russian authorities. President Putin invited Imran Khan to join him in working lunch.
To give more time to their discussion, the Russian Government and Pakistani delegation headed by both heads of the state will spend more time with each other. After two decades, this is the first official visit of any Pakistani prime minister to Russia.
