24 Out Of 34 Members Of The Newly Formed Cabinet Are Out On Bail, Fawad Chaudhry

“24 ministers of the cabinet, including the prime minister, have been released on bail. The new cabinet could have given a better and clearer message to the world if the IG prisons had taken oath instead of the chairman senate. Only Kalbushan Yadav remained in jail, the rest have become ministers”, Fawad Chaudhry tweeted.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s new cabinet consisting of 31 federal ministers and 3 ministers of state and 3 advisors took oath on Tuesday. President Arif Alvi had excused himself from administering oath to the new ministers and then the Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani performed this duty.

The interesting fact is, that over 70% of members of the new cabinet are out on bail and they will be the policymakers of Pakistan. The public is giving a very severe reaction to the choice of federal ministers. Judiciary is also under criticism for not taking any action against the inclusion of criminals in the federal cabinet.

Khwaja Asif, Rana Sanaullah, Ayaz Sadiq, Ahsan Iqbal, Abdul Qadir Patel, Khurram Dastageer, Saad Rafiq, Faisal Sabzwari, Shazia Marri, and Hina Rabbani Khar are included in the list of ministers that are on bail.
