Cheif Justice of Pakistan, Justice Umar Atta Bandial has said that Supreme Court will listen to the Presidential Ordinance after Eid Holidays. Supreme Court’s Judges will not be available these days.

CJP Umar Atta Bandial made these remarks during the hearing of the Presidential Ordinance filed last month, seeking the advice of Supreme Court regarding the interpretation of the Article 63-A of the Constitution. Article 63-A deals with the party floor crossing of members. Here we should remember that the Presidential Ordinance was filed a month ago. The ruling party at that time Pakistan Tehreek E Insaf hoped that Supreme Court will advise on the petition within a week or two.
