Finance Minister of Pakistan, Miftah Ismail, mocked Imran Khan for referencing Quranic verses in his speeches in his meeting at the Atlantic council in Washington.
Miftah Ismail, on his visit to the United States of America to negotiate and deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), spoke to the Atlantic Council in which he said that Imran Khan quotes Quranic Verse, ‘Amar Bi’l Ma’roof Wa Na’hi Anil Munkir’, in his speeches, which is about standing with virtue against vice.
Miftah Ismail mumbled while quoting the Quranic verse and mocked Imran Khan for quoting it in his speeches. He also compared Imran Khan with Taliban for quoting Quranic verses and implied that referencing Quranic verses is linked to terrorism.
