Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has challenged the NAB law amendment act in Supreme Court of Pakistan today, saying that this amendment will eventually end any investigations regarding the white collar crime in the country.
Last month, National Assembly and Senate had passed an amendment act regarding NAB law. This act aimed at providing a protection against the assets beyond means and other such cases.
President of Pakistan Arif Alvi had returned the ordinance without giving an approval. After delaying by Alvi, former Prime Minister Imran Khan who had been criticizing the ordinance had challenged it in supreme court.
